### What is OKLCH and why should I care?

OKLCH (Lightness, Chroma, Hue) is a modern color space designed to match human perception. Unlike HSL, changing the lightness in OKLCH doesn't shift the perceived hue. CSS Color 4 supports it natively; use it for accessible, predictable palettes.

### What WCAG contrast ratio do I need?

WCAG 2.1 requires 4.5:1 for normal body text (AA) or 3:1 for large text (18pt+). AAA requires 7:1 for normal text. This tool shows both ratios and flags pass/fail for each level.

### Why does my HEX color look different in RGB?

HEX is just a shorthand for RGB; they're the same color space. '#ff0000' and 'rgb(255, 0, 0)' are the exact same red. If colors look different, your browser or OS is applying color management (sRGB → Display P3) on one of them.
