Dedicated Development Team
A full development squad (engineers, tech lead and product manager) embedded in your org chart for 6 to 24 months. Exclusive to your roadmap, joins your standups, ships against your sprints.
What Dedicated Team Delivers
- Exclusive to Your Roadmap: This is the model when you have a real product roadmap and you're tired of the overhead of hiring full-time. You get a squad that behaves like an internal team (same Slack, same Jira, same retros) but without the recruiting cycle, the office, the equity dilution or the long ramp-down if priorities shift. We see this work best for Series A to Series C startups scaling fast and for enterprises with a long-lived product line that doesn't justify a permanent hire in Madrid or Barcelona.
- Tech Lead and PM Included: Every dedicated team ships with a tech lead who owns architecture and code review, and a part-time product manager who runs sprint planning, refinement and retros. You don't have to manage individual ICs unless you want to.
- You Pick This If You Need a Team: Pick a dedicated team when you need a self-contained squad with its own internal coordination and shipping rhythm. If you only need to slot a couple of senior engineers into your existing team and have your own tech lead already, look at staff augmentation instead: same engineers, less overhead, lower price.
- Ramp Up or Down With 30 Days Notice: Add a frontend engineer mid-quarter, drop a backend mid-year, swap a designer for a data engineer, all with 30-day notice. You're not locked into headcount that no longer matches your roadmap.
- IP and Code Belong to You: Every line we ship is work-for-hire under your name. Source lives in your GitHub or GitLab from day one. We sign assignment of IP at SOW level and per-engineer NDAs before anyone touches the keyboard.
- Same Squad, Sprint After Sprint: The team that shipped your MVP is the same team running v3 two years later. We backfill within two weeks if someone leaves, with a documented handover. You don't pay for ramp-up twice.
How We Build Your Dedicated Team
- Discovery Call (Free, 45 min): You walk us through the product, the roadmap, the team you already have and the gaps. We tell you whether a dedicated team is genuinely the right fit or if staff augmentation or a fixed bid would serve you better.
- Team Composition Proposal: Within 5 business days we send a proposal with named senior profiles, their CVs, monthly per-seat rates and the SOW. No generic resumes: these are the actual people who will be on your standup.
- Interviews and Final Pick: You interview every engineer and reject anyone who is not a fit. We replace until you are happy. No pressure to accept the first batch of profiles.
- Onboarding Sprint: First two weeks: access provisioning, codebase walkthrough, ADR reading, pair-programming with your existing team. By end of sprint 1 the team merges its first PRs.
- Sprint Cadence and Reporting: Two-week sprints, daily standups in your time zone, weekly demos, biweekly retros. A monthly steering call with your CTO and our delivery lead reviews velocity, burn, risks and the next 90 days.
- Renewal or Ramp-down: SOW auto-renews quarterly. To shrink or end the engagement give 30 days written notice. We hand over docs, runbooks and access cleanly so your remaining team can continue without drama.
High-performance stack used by global leaders
React/Next.js/Angular on the frontend and Java 21 + Spring Boot + PostgreSQL 14 on the backend: the same stack that BBVA, ING, and Netflix use for their security and performance.
Dedicated Team: FAQ
How is this different from staff augmentation?
A dedicated team is a self-contained squad with its own tech lead and PM running internal coordination: they ship features, not just hands. Staff augmentation is individual senior engineers who slot into your existing team and report to your tech lead. Dedicated team is heavier and more expensive per head because of the included leadership; staff augmentation is leaner if you already have a strong engineering org.
What's the typical contract length?
Minimum 3 months, average 18, several teams running for 3+ years. The contract is open-ended after the initial 3-month period and can be ended with 30 days written notice.
How does pricing work?
Monthly flat per seat. Senior full-stack engineers run €7,500-€9,500/month, tech leads €10,000-€12,500/month, mid-level engineers €5,500-€7,000/month, designers and PMs €6,000-€9,000/month. No setup fee, no overtime billing, no surprises. We invoice on the 1st of each month with 30-day payment terms.
What is the minimum team size?
Three people: a tech lead and two engineers. Below that the model loses its value: you would be paying for tech-lead overhead without enough delivery capacity to justify it. If you need fewer hands, staff augmentation makes more economic sense.
How fast can we start?
From signed SOW to first commit is 2 weeks: 5 days for proposal, 5 days for interviews and selection, 5 days for onboarding setup. We can pre-stage profiles during contract negotiation if you need it faster.
What happens if someone on the team leaves?
We backfill within two weeks at no extra cost. The departing engineer hands over to the replacement during a 1-week overlap, and we keep architecture decision records (ADRs) and runbooks updated continuously so onboarding is fast. Your retention is our retention: we keep the same squad together for years.
Who owns the IP and the source code?
You. The MSA includes a full assignment of IP. Code lives in your GitHub or GitLab from the first commit, and every engineer signs a personal NDA before getting access. We keep no copies of your code on our infrastructure.
Does the team join our daily standups and ceremonies?
Yes. The dedicated team behaves as a sub-team of yours. They join your daily standup, planning, refinement, retro and your Slack channels. The tech lead also runs a 15-minute internal sync with the squad daily for cross-cutting concerns we don't want to derail your meetings with.
Can we hire your engineers directly after the engagement?
Yes, and we are honest about it: after 12 months in the engagement, hire-out is allowed with a one-time conversion fee equivalent to 3 months of the engineer's seat rate. Below 12 months, we ask for 6 months. We would rather you keep great people than lose them in a transition.
Do you work with clients globally?
Yes. We work fully remote with clients across Spain, Europe, the US and LATAM. Time zones, video calls and live demos at every milestone.
