Booking Platform Development
A booking system that survives the Tuesday morning rush: multi-resource, deposit-aware and integrated with the channels you actually answer.
What Booking Platform Delivers
- A Calendar Engine That Models Your Reality: Calendly works for one-person consultants. Past two practitioners, two locations or anything that involves rooms + people + equipment, generic SaaS booking falls apart. Custom booking platforms make sense when slots are inventory (clinics with rooms, fitness studios with classes, yacht charters with boats) and your schedule is the product.
- Deposits, No-Show Fees and Refunds: Stripe or Redsys integration with hold-and-capture for deposits, automatic no-show fees, and one-click refunds. Your front desk stops being a debt collector.
- Reminders Where Your Clients Actually Read: WhatsApp Business API, SMS, email, push, all configurable per service. We measure the no-show drop after each channel goes live so you know which to keep.
- A Real Owner Dashboard: Daily revenue, occupancy, top services, repeat-rate per client and forecast. The owner sees in 10 seconds what the spreadsheet took two hours to assemble.
- Branded, Embeddable, Mobile-First: A branded booking flow on your domain, plus an embeddable widget for partners or sub-locations. Mobile-first because 70% of bookings come from a phone.
- Open API and Calendar Sync: Two-way Google / Outlook calendar sync per practitioner, public REST API for marketing automations, webhooks for downstream workflows.
How We Build Your Booking Platform
- Slot Inventory Modelling: We map services to resources, capacities and rules. The model is the hardest part: most "booking" failures are really inventory failures.
- Booking Flow Prototype: A clickable flow tested with five real clients before any code ships. We refine wording, payment placement and confirmation copy until conversion is obvious.
- Build Engine + Public Booking: The conflict-free engine and the public booking page first. Internally bookable by week 4, publicly live by week 6-8.
- Owner Dashboard + Reminders: Reporting and message templates, A/B-tested before rollout. The reminder copy that drops no-shows is rarely the obvious one.
- Channels and Integrations: WhatsApp, calendar sync, accounting export, marketing tool webhooks: the boring connective tissue that makes the platform run.
- Soft-Launch + Iterate: One location for two weeks, measure no-show rate, conversion and support volume, fix obvious gaps, then roll out to the rest.
High-performance stack used by global leaders
React/Next.js/Angular on the frontend and Java 21 + Spring Boot + PostgreSQL 14 on the backend: the same stack that BBVA, ING, and Netflix use for their security and performance.
Booking Platform: FAQ
When does Calendly stop being enough?
When you have multiple practitioners + rooms + equipment, when slots are inventory you sell (classes, charters), when a missed appointment costs > €40, or when 30%+ of bookings come over WhatsApp. Below that, Calendly is fine.
How much does it cost?
A single-business booking platform with payments, reminders and a dashboard runs €18,000-€45,000. Multi-location chains with branded white-label per franchise reach €70,000-€150,000.
How long to launch?
6-10 weeks for a single business. 12-16 weeks for multi-location with white-label.
Can it handle recurring class bookings?
Yes. Drop-in slots, packs of classes (5/10/20), unlimited subscriptions, waitlists, late-cancel fees and recurring weekly bookings, all live in the engine.
What payment processors do you support?
Stripe (most flexible, recommended), Redsys (Spain banks), Adyen (multi-country enterprise), Mollie. We also handle SEPA direct debit for Spain subscriptions.
Does it integrate with our existing CRM?
Yes. We push booking events to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho or your custom CRM via webhooks or native APIs. Each booking becomes a contact + activity automatically.
How do you handle GDPR and customer data?
EU-region data residency by default, encryption at rest and in transit, right-to-erasure flow, data processing agreement signed with you. We do not sub-process to non-EU vendors without your sign-off.
Do you work with clients globally?
Yes. We work fully remote with clients across Spain, Europe, the US and LATAM. Time zones, video calls and live demos at every milestone.
