| Learning curve | Steep, dependency injection, RxJS and the framework's conventions take months to master, but they pay off in large teams. | Gentle, the closest of any framework to plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript; runes in Svelte 5 add a small reactive vocabulary. |
| Performance | Strong since signals and zoneless change detection landed (Angular 17+); initial bundles remain heavier than Vue or Svelte. | Compiles the framework away, tiny bundles, no virtual DOM and top-tier runtime speed, especially on low-end devices. |
These are the two extremes of the frontend spectrum, angular ships every convention and tool built-in, Svelte compiles itself away and leaves almost no framework at runtime. Choose Angular for multi-team enterprise platforms with long lifecycles; choose Svelte for lean teams building fast, performance-sensitive products. Few projects sit genuinely in between.
