## Learning curve

Steep for newcomers, the JVM ecosystem, annotations and dependency injection are a lot to absorb, but conventions pay off at scale.

## Performance

Excellent sustained throughput on the JVM; virtual threads (Java 21) removed the old concurrency ceiling, and GraalVM native images cut startup and memory when needed.
